Arasan Licenses CE-ATA Host and USB 2.0 OTG IP Cores to Spreadtrum Communications
SAN JOSE, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Dec. 15, 2005—
Arasan Chip Systems, Inc. ("Arasan"), a leading supplier
of reusable Intellectual Property (IPs) cores, has licensed its CE-ATA
Host Controller IP core and USB 2.0 On the Go (OTG) IP Core to
Spreadtrum Communications located in Sunnyvale, USA.
Arasan USB 2.0 OTG IP Core is silicon proven and is currently in
production with many of our licensees. Arasan's CE-ATA Host IP has
been licensed by some of the founding members of the CE-ATA
Association and other large companies. Arasan got its USB 2.0
Certified in 2001 and is currently working with major CE-ATA HDD
vendors for interoperability testing. Quality and Excellent Support
come standard with all Arasan IPs.
